FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (1-16, 0-11 CC) was defeated by Emmanuel University (11-8, 6-7 CC) by a score of 110-64 at the Shaw Athletic Center on Wednesday evening.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot 31% (23-74) from the field but just 17% (5-29) from the three-point line. The Fleet were 72% (13-18) from the free throw line and had a 17 to 15 edge in points off turnovers, but allowed the Lions to grab 21 offensive rebounds, which gave the hosts a 26 to 7 advantage in second chance points.

Erskine goes back on the road this weekend for a difficult test at Belmont Abbey College (15-4, 10-2 CC) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
