YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (3-17, 1-12 CC) was defeated by Young Harris College (6-13, 4-7 CC) by a score of 51-45 at The Harp Recreation & Commencement Center on Wednesday evening.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot just 27% (16-59) from the field and 26% (7-27) from the three-point line, as well as 50% (6-12) from the free throw line. The Fleet trailed by 11 heading into the final quarter and got within five points, but were unable to finish the comeback. The Fleet totaled just seven points off turnovers and had zero transition points.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine stays on the road for a tall test this weekend, taking on UNC Pembroke (16-6, 10-2 CC) on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Braves are the reigning Conference Carolinas Tournament champions.
