MURFREESBORO, N.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (4-19, 1-14 CC) was defeated by Chowan University (12-8, 12-4 CC) by a score of 89-53 at the Hawks Athletic Center on Saturday.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot just 28% (16-58) from the field and 28% (5-18) from the three-point line, as well as 70% (16-23) from the free throw line. The Fleet allowed 29 points in the opening quarter and were unable to overcome the early deficit.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine finally returns home to wrap up the regular season with a three-game home stand, starting against Southern Wesleyan University (10-15, 7-8 CC) on Wednesday at 5 p.m.
