DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (2-6, 1-2 CC) was defeated by Lander University (4-2) by a score of 75-62 at Belk Arena on Tuesday evening.

Erskine shot 33% (20-61) from the field and 24% (5-21) from the three-point line, as well as 63% (17-27) from the free throw line. The Fleet forced 27 turnovers but only held a one-point advantage in points off turnovers and were undone by a 29-point third quarter from the Bearcats.

Erskine gets back into conference play this weekend at Young Harris College (4-3, 1-1 CC) on Saturday at 2 p.m.
