DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (2-8, 1-4 CC) was defeated by Emmanuel University (3-7, 2-3 CC) by a score of 80-69 at Belk Arena on Saturday.

The Fleet trailed by 10 after three quarters and by as much as 15 at one point in the fourth before clawing their way back within four, but were unable to get over the hump in the divisional matchup.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot just 33% (24-73) from the field but just 17% (2-12) from the three-point line. The Fleet were 68% (19-28) from the free throw line, but were outrebounded, 57 to 40.

Erskine wraps up the fall semester with a trip to Lees-McRae College (3-6, 1-4 CC) on Tuesday at noon.
