DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (2-4, 1-1 CC) defeated North Greenville University (0-7, 0-1 CC) by a score of 67-61 at Belk Arena on Tuesday in the Fleet's home conference opener.
Erskine trailed by eight after the third quarter, but exploded for a 29-point outburst in the final period to rally past NGU for its first conference win of the young season.

Albany Wilson scored a game-high 20 points on an extremely efficient 7-for-11 shooting from the field, including knocking down 3 of her 4 three-point attempts. Wilson also added five rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

Erskine shot 41% (24-58) from the field and 38% (8-21) from the three-point line. The Fleet totaled 13 steals, as part of 24 forced turnovers, and held a decided 19 to 3 advantage in fast break points.
