DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (1-1) was defeated by Georgia College & State University (3-0) by a score of 80-48 at Belk Arena on Wednesday evening in the Flying Fleet's home opener.

Erskine shot 23% (15-66) from the field and just 13% (4-31) from the three-point line, as well as just 44% (14-32) from the free throw line. Erskine won the turnover battle, 25 to 13, as the Fleet totaled 14 steals in the contest.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine has an exhibition against Kennesaw State over the weekend, before resuming official action back at home against USC Aiken (0-3) next Wednesday at 5 p.m.
