Erskine Women's Golf | Freeman named next Head Coach

DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College Women's Golf program officially announced Madison Freeman as the new head coach on Tuesday afternoon. Freeman steps into the role as former head coach, Anna Parramore, transitions into a part-time position in the program.

"[Madison] is a skilled coach with a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the course and we are looking forward to an exciting spring season ahead," Erskine Director of Golf Jason Allen said.

Freeman joined the Flying Fleet as an assistant for the women's golf team in July after an incredibly successful five-year playing career at the NCAA Division I level that included a Big South Conference Championship and NCAA Regional berth this past spring. She spent her first two seasons at Sam Houston State, before transferring to Charleston Southern for her final three seasons, earning Big South All-Conference honors every year.

Parramore, who had been at the helm since the start of last season, will continue to support the program in a reduced capacity as she embarks on a new journey to pursue a master's degree.

"Anna has led the program with dedication and success and I want to thank her for her exceptional leadership over the years. Her commitment to the growth of Erskine women's golf will continue to shape the team's future as she balances her academic pursuits", Allen said.

Freeman and the Fleet are preparing for their 2025 spring season, which begins in February.
