AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (2-7, 1-2 CC) was defeated by Augusta University (6-4) by a score of 74-39 at the George A. Christenberry Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.

THE TEAM
Erskine got off to a slow start and shot just 23% (11-48) and just 1-15 from three-point range. The Fleet did make 16 of their 18 (89%) free throws and totaled 15 steals, led by Janelle Carter (5) and Anzya Cook (4) with their prescence on the defensive end.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine returns home and resumes conference play against Young Harris College (3-9, 0-3 CC) on Wednesday at 5 p.m. It will be the Fleet's first ever meeting against the conference newcomer Mountain Lions.
