COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (1-2) was defeated by Columbia College (5-4) by a score of 65-55 on Monday night at Porter Gymnasium.

THE TEAM
Erskine shot just 27% (22-82) from the field and 17% (4-24) from three-point range, and just 44% (7-16) from the free throw line. The Fleet forced a season-high 34 turnovers, totaling 18 steals, but the difference came at the charity stripe, where the Koalas were plus-14 in makes, 21 to 7.

WHAT'S NEXT? 
Erskine stays on the road and begins Conference Carolinas play this weekend against North Greenville University (6-1) on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Fleet and Crusaders split their regular season meetings last year, with the home team winning each game.
