BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (4-7, 2-5 CC) defeated Lees-McRae College (1-12, 0-8 CC) by a score of 63-41 at Williams Gymnasium  on Saturday afternoon. The Fleet outscored Lees-McRae 20 to 8 in the opening quarter and were led by Mariah Corry, who scored a game-high 17 points.

Erskine shot 42% (23-55) from the field, including a blistering 14 threes. Meanwhile, the Fleet defense held th Bobcats to just 25% from the field.

Erskine continues conference play as they return home to take on Emmanuel College (5-5, 4-2 CC) on Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.
