DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (2-2, 0-1 CC) took down Columbia College (1-5, 1-4 NAIA AAC) with a convincing 64-39 win in the Fleet's home opener at Belk Arena on Tuesday night. Anzya Cook led the Fleet with 22 points, including 4 threes, while Shanece Mitchell (13 points) and Albany Wilson (11 points) also scored in double figures. Janelle Carter led the Erskine defense with 6 rebounds, 5 steals and a block.

The Fleet take a brief road trip to Newberry College (2-4) on Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. before returning home to take on SWU this weekend. The Wolves have won all three meetings with the Fleet, including a 74-59 win in Newberry in their last matchup back in 2019.
