THE MATCH
Following a start to the match where both sides settled into things for the opening minutes, it was the Fleet who created the game's first chance.
Alex Lopez was played through behind the NGU defense and had a 1-on-1 with the Crusaders' goalkeeper. But, the North Greenville goalie stood tall and made a solid save to deny Lopez and the Fleet their opening goal. Moments later, Yessine Bessaies found the back of the net for the visitors in the 15th minute. Bessaies added a second before the break to give NGU a 2-0 halftime lead. The Crusaders kept their foot on the gas pedal, scoring three more times in the second half and winning by a score of 5-0.
THE TEAM
Erskine was outshot by North Greenville 14Â to 4, and the Crusaders had a 9 to 3 advantage in shots on target.
