DUE WEST, S.C. – The Erskine College men's soccer team (1-13-1, 1-12-1 CC) was defeated by Lees-McRae College (7-2-6, 5-1-4 SAC) by a score of 4-0 at Huggins Field on Wednesday afternoon.

THE MATCH
Lees-McRae took an early lead on an 8th-minute goal from Harrison Watts. However, after conceding early, the Fleet defense settled in and limited the Bobcats to just three shots in the first half, as the match went into the half with the visitors leading by a goal. But, Lees-McRae began the second half in a fury, scoring in the 50th and 59th minutes to take a commanding 3-0 lead. Drew Kilcoyne capped off the match with an 89th-minute goal as the Bobcats won in Erskine's home finale, 4-0.
THE TEAM
Erskine was outshot by Lees-McRae 10 to 5 and the Bobcats had a 7 to 1 advantage in shots on target.

WHAT'S NEXT?
Erskine concludes its 2022 campaign on the road this weekend to take on Francis Marion University (6-5-5, 5-2-3 CC) on Saturday night at 7 p.m. The Patriots have won the last three meetings with the Fleet, including a 1-0 win in Due West last year.
