FLORENCE, S.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (0-17, 0-15 CC) went on the road to play Francis Marion University in a Conference Carolinas women's basketball matchup. The Fleet, although keeping the game close in the first half, fell to Francis Marion by a score of 61-77, despite a very strong outing from Sophomore guard,
Anzya Cook.
THE PLAYER
Anzya Cook poured in 26 points on an efficient 8-12 shooting and 6-8 from beyond the arc. This scoring outing marked a season high in points in a single game for a Flying Fleet player.
THE TEAM
Erskine shot 19-55 (34.5%) from the floor and was 12-26 (46.2%) from beyond the arc. The Fleet shot 11-19 (57.9%) from the foul line in the game.

The Fleet come back home to matchup with Emmanuel College on Thursday, February 3rd at 5:00 PM.
