PEMBROKE, N.C. – The Erskine College women's basketball team (0-3, 0-1 CC) fell to UNC Pembroke (2-2, 1-0) on the road in their first Conference Carolinas game of the regular season. The Fleet fought hard in the very competitive matchup and had some key contributors. Freshman Guard
Mariah Moody came into the game playing a total of 2 minutes in the first 2 games of the season. Moody did not follow that trend in this matchup as she led the Fleet in scoring with 18 points on 5-6 from 3 point land and 3-4 from the free throw line. Moody was the only Flying Fleet player in double digits for scoring and she also contributed and assist and a steal to the Fleet effort.

Mariah Moody, the Fleet fell 49-59 in this Conference Carolinas matchup, dropping them to 0-1 in conference play.
