DUE WEST- Freshman Dario Pavon scored a tie-breaking goal with only 26 seconds remaining in the second overtime to lift Erskine to a 3-2 win over arch-rival Anderson on Wednesday night at Huggins Field. Pavon headed in a cross by sophomore Matt Perry to give the Fleet their first point of the year in the coveted Beville Cup battle between the two schools. Pavon's goal was his second of the night as he tied the match at 2-2 at 75:16 on an assist from Alex Mushata. Sophomore Daniel Jonna added the Fleet's first goal at 12:44 on an assist from Luke Randle. Erskine never led in the contest until Pavon's game-winner.

The Beville Cup now stands at 1-1 after the Trojan women's volleyball team captured a point last week.
