Due West, SC – Lincoln Memorial scored two second half goals to take a 3-2 victory over Erskine Thursday night in the season opening game.
Danilo da Silva would score the game's first goal in the 12
th minute to give the Railsplitters the early lead. Seven minutes later
Kacper Zak would blast a shot from 25 yards out to tie the game at one. With less than two minutes to go in the first half,
Ryan De Leon would score on an assist from
Thad Estes to give the Fleet the 2-1 lead. In the 63
rd minute, Lincoln Memorial would tie the game on a goal by Diego Valazquez and three minutes later Victor Peres would score to give the Railsplitters the lead for good.
Mikael Varin made eight saves in his first career start in goal for Erskine.
