Lees-McRae Defeats Erskine 85-77

Banner Elk, NC – Lees-McRae held off the Flying Fleet to take an 85-77 victory Wednesday night in Conference Carolinas women's basketball action.

Naomi Stuger led the Fleet with 23 points, while Myranda Parham added 14 points.  Tametra Willis and Kristin Giles scored 13 and 12 points respectively in the loss.  Ashley Espinosa had a team high seven rebounds. 

Also on Wednesday night, Espinosa and Stuger became the latest women's basketball players to join the 1,000 career point club.
