Banner Elk, NC – The Flying Fleet had three players in double figures, but it would not be enough as Lees-McRae would hang on for a 76-69 victory in Conference Carolinas women's basketball action Saturday afternoon.
Kristen Giles drained four three pointers and finished with 18 points to lead Erskine (0-7, 0-3).
Naomi Stuger finished with her second straight double-double scoring 17 points and pulling down a game high 10 rebounds.
Raygon Hendrix also scored 17 points and had a team high six assists.
Lees-McRae (1-7, 1-3) was led on offense by Tayler Collins who scored 19 points, while Mackenzi Blakenship added 17 points.
Erskine returns to action Monday as they travel to Columbia, SC to play Benedict College at 6:00 pm.
