Due West, SC – Lander University erased a five point half time deficit to take a 79-66 victory over Erskine College Wednesday night in non-conference basketball action.
The Fleet had three players in double digits, led by
Naomi Stuger who has 18 points.
Raygon Hendrix added 13 and Kristen Giles had 12. Stuger and
Marnasha Eugene both had eight rebounds to lead Erskine.
Breshay Johnson scored a game high 26 points to lead the Bearcats, while Ty'Hesha Reynolds and Sakezia Kelly added 18 and 15 points respectively. Johnson and
Kelly also led Lander on the boards with 11 rebounds each.
The Fleet return to action Saturday as they host Anderson University at 6:00 pm.
