Due West, S.C. – The Erskine women's basketball team travels to play the conference-leading Saints of Limestone College this Wednesday night.  Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.

The Flying Fleet (10-5, 5-2) play the Saints (11-4, 6-1) at a time when they are arguably playing their best basketball of the season.  Erskine has won their last four games and eight of their last nine games.

Wednesday's contest features the conference's top two scoring teams.  Erskine leads the conference in scoring averaging 75.7 points per game while Limestone is number two at 74.5 points per game.

Defensively, the two teams also rank side-by-side.  Limestone is fourth in the conference yielding 64.8 points per game while Erskine ranks fifth allowing 68.8 points per game.

Over the past nine games, freshman point guardRaygon Hendrix (Summerville, SC, Pinewood Preparatory School) has emerged as a consistent scoring, averaging 15.7 points and 4.2 assists per game.  She has reached double-figures in eight of those nine games and led all-scorers in Saturday's contest with 25 points.

Junior forward Andrienne Bannerman (Wilmington, NC, Pender High School) has also played extremely well during the Fleet's run, averaging 11 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.  She has posted three double-doubles in those nine games.

The Saints have won four of their last five games, including their last two games.  Last week the Saints won a pair of conference games, beating King on Wednesday then topping Barton on Saturday.

The Saints are led in scoring by a pair of juniors.  Guard Ayshia McNeil averages 15.3 points per game while forward Celestra Warren averages 15.1 points per game.  Warren also leads the team on the boards at 8.4 rebounds per game.
