Box Score Tigerville, S.C. – Trailing by one at halftime, Erskine fell victim to a red-hot North Greenville University losing 92 to 61 in Conference Carolinas women’s basketball action at Hayes Gymnasium.
After shooting 9 of 33 (27%) in the first half, NGU shot an impressive 21 of 44 (48%), including 7 of 18 from behind the arc, to surge to the 92 to 61 win.

Jana Dixon (Conyers, GA, Heritage High School) turned in a season-best 12 points and 10 rebounds to earn her second “double-double” of the season. Sophomore
Tara Potter (Sherrills Ford, NC, Bandys High School) scored a team-high 16 points along with 6 rebounds.
For the Crusaders, Tyler Powers scored a game-high 20 points while Alisha Hope contributed 17 points. Timisty Nelson earned a “double-double” with 11 point and a game-high 11 rebounds and teammate added 14 points with 7 assists.
Erskine travels to Charlotte, North Carolina, this Saturday to play conference foe Queens University. Game time is set for 5:30 p.m.
