Erskine romps Allen University 83 to 48

Box Score Due West, S.C. – Erskine (2-1) romped Allen University (1-4) 83 to 48 tonight in non-conference women's basketball action at Belk Arena.

Erskine opened the game in a full court press sprinting out to a 26 to 6 lead.  By halftime, Erskine had forced 23 turnovers and led 50 to 22.

With the lead secure, Coach Russ Gregg played all eighteen players with sixteen players scoring a point.  Erskine was led by freshman Naomi Stuger's 15 points.  Junior Tara Potter (Charlotte, NC, Bandys High School) scored 10 points and hauled in a game-high 8 rebounds in limited playing time.

The Yellow Jackets were led by Tammy Benson's game-high 17 points while teammate Katrece Daniels had 13 points. 

Erskine hosts Lander University for Community Day this Saturday starting at 4:00 p.m.  Admission is free to all local residents.
